PAYMENT – Full payment is required at the time of reservation. Your credit card will be charged when you click "Submit" on the confirmation page. Spots cannot be “held.” Great Parks accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover.
REFUNDS – Cancellations made by guests 14 or fewer days prior to the start of the scheduled program will not be eligible for a refund.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION – By checking the box below, you acknowledge and understand that participation in this program is inherently dangerous and that injury and illness (including communicable diseases such as Influenza, MRSA, Coronavirus, etc.) are possible. You agree to assume the full risk of any injuries, illnesses, damages, or losses that you or your child may sustain as a result of participation in the activities connected to or associated with this program. You agree to waive and relinquish all claims you may have as a result of your or your child's participation in the program, against Great Parks of Hamilton County and their agents, employees, and volunteers.
By checking the box below, you fully authorize Great Parks of Hamilton County to utilize photographs, video, and/or voice recordings of yourself and/or the child/participant attending this program to be used exclusively for the promotion and marketing (such as publicity photos, printed brochures, advertisements, commercials, website) of Great Parks of Hamilton County, its parks, programs, events, services, and facilities. You acknowledge that the images or recordings become the property of Great Parks of Hamilton County and may be used at their sole discretion. You agree that you will not be compensated for the use of the aforementioned materials and agree to waive any claims or demands from Great Parks of Hamilton County, its employees, volunteers, or contracted professional photographers/videographers.
Rules and Regulations for Fall Family Campout
- Arrival time is 2 - 6 p.m. on Saturday. Please depart no later than noon on Sunday.
- Campers must clean up their site before leaving. Place all trash in the dumpster located in the Shady Elm Shelter parking lot.
- A valid motor vehicle permit is required to enter the park. Cost for residents of Hamilton County: $10 annual, $5 daily; other visitors: $15 annual, $8 daily.
- A maximum of six people and two tents are permitted per campsite. No trailers, pop-up campers or RVs are permitted. One dining fly/tarp (10' x 10' max.) per site is allowed. Generators are not permitted.
- At least one adult (18+) is required to stay on each campsite and assume responsibility for minors.
- Only two pets are permitted on each campsite. Pets must be kept on a six-foot leash at all times. Please pick up pet waste. At the Rangers ' discretion, owners may be asked to remove loud or unruly pets from the camping area.
- Visitors will not be permitted in the camping area due to limited space.
- Tickets include access to a shared fire pit. Campfires outside of designated communal rings are not permitted. There will also be several group campfires maintained throughout the evening.
- Quiet hours are from 11 p.m. - 9 a.m.
- Alcohol may not be brought into the park or consumed in the camping area.
- Great Parks Rangers, at their sole discretion, may terminate occupancy or remove individuals from the camping area without a refund. Profanity and loud or abusive behavior are prohibited. Conduct that could endanger the welfare of others or infringe on others’ enjoyment will not be tolerated.
- Campers are encouraged to read and understand the severe weather procedures, which will be posted at the picnic shelters, lodge, and boathouse.
- For emergency assistance, dial 911. The boathouse will be open all night.
