Join Photo Club

Club members are invited to submit photos taken in any of our 22 parks and conservation areas. Photo submissions may be used by Great Parks with due credit given when possible (see photo submission guidelines below).
Submit Photos

Photo Submission Guidelines:
Photos must be renamed using the following format: park name/season/photo’s theme (e.g., wintonwoods/summer/rubythroatedhummingbird)
Photos should feature scenery, animals and close-ups of natural objects found in the parks. However, close-up photos of people cannot be accepted.

The Framing Nature Photo Club aims to create a community of amateur photographers with a shared love for nature photography. Club members will be encouraged to share ideas and useful resources, along with those shared by club leaders. Learn More

Photography Walks

Framing Nature Photo Walk: Lighting & Using Circular Polarizers/Filters

If catching the perfect fall foliage photo is your goal, join us as we discuss and practice using circular polarizers and filters. Photojournalist Malinda Hartong will share the techniques for using these accessories to capture the perfect lighting for your photos. All cameras are welcome as information will apply to any camera, whether a DSLR, mirrorless or smartphone.
