Outdoor Archery: Basic Compound Bow

Aiming for a new way to enjoy the great outdoors?  Try out your skills with a little target practice! Instructors will guide you through the basics of shooting a compound bow and teach you the archery steps to success.  All equipment is provided.  For ages 10 and up.  Children must be accompanied by an adult.  Winton Woods/Adventure Outpost ($22/person, register by 1 day in advance)

Outdoor Archery: Intermediate Compound Bow

Sat 5/6, 10 a.m.- noon

Looking to take your compound bow skills to the next level? Then this program is right on target! Aim towards hitting that bullseye more consistently and refine your technique while shooting at both ground and elevated targets. Great Parks Basic Compound Bow is a prerequisite. For ages 13 and up. Winton Woods/Adventure Outpost ($22/person, register by 2 days in advance)

Outdoor Archery: Compound Bow Accuracy and Games

Have you already taken a Great Parks’ compound bow class and want to further improve your shot? Then game on!  After quickly reviewing the steps to archery success, archers will aim toward increasing accuracy while testing their skills with fun and challenging games. For ages 10 and up. Tuesdays on 4/4- 5/2, 4:30- 5:45 p.m.

What do bows, arrows, new friends and having fun in the great outdoors all have in common? The Archery Club, of course! Adventure Outpost Instructors invite young archers to join us for this 5-week experience. We “aim” to grow consistent form and technique though the 11 steps to archery success while fostering confidence, focus and fitness through various experiences and challenges. Tap into your inner archer and gear up for some fun on the range! All equipment is provided. For ages 10 to 15. Winton Woods/Adventure Outpost ($90/person, register by 3/28)
