Join us for a fun-filled day all about your four-legged friends! Stop by Simmonds Family Dog Park to learn about local pet services and businesses. Don't forget to pick up some treats during your visit! We will have Daizie's Dillas and Kabobske food trucks onsite. Great Parks is following protocols from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the Ohio Department of Health. Physical distancing and sanitation recommendations will be followed. Shakespeare in the Park: "Twelfth Night"

Shipwrecks, love triangles, and mistaken identities abound in this lively rom-com on an island where everyone is in love with someone - and the wrong person loves them back.  Bursting with vitality and romance, “Twelfth Night” features one of Shakespeare’s most dynamic heroines, Viola, matching wits with a host of captivating characters. As Shakespeare comedies go, “Twelfth Night” is one of the greats; a fun celebration that embraces the silliness of love and is perfect for the whole family!

Starting at 5 p.m. are kid friendly activities including a bounce house and a craft table provided by the Cincinnati Public Library - Sharonville Branch.

Head to Winton Harbor for the largest free outdoor environmental education event for children in the Midwest! This unique opportunity will pique kids’ interest in the great outdoors and recreational activities. Come out and discover more than 30 exhibitors and interactive activities. Farm to Table Dinner at Parky's Farm

Sun 9/25, 5 p.m. – 7 p.m.

Join us for our inaugural farm to table dinner featuring locally sourced produce and proteins paired with delicious sustainable suds provided by High Grain Brewery.  Enjoy your dinner with expertly paired beers, live music from a local artist, and learn about what High Grain Brewery is doing to achieve carbon neutrality. Afterward, enjoy a post-dinner stroll around Parky's Farm to check out the different animals and meet our beekeeper. Winton Woods/Parky’s Farm ($42 per person, register by 9/19.)

At this free event, kids ages 4–12 will enjoy fun education stations for vehicle and pedestrian safety. Kids can spend time on the driving course and earn a special prize if they complete all the activities. Safety Town is a pre-registered event with 10 available registrations every 30 minutes; select your time when registering. Santa is working remotely from the North Pole this year, but that won’t stop him from meeting with everyone on the nice list! Join Santa Claus himself for an exclusive 10-minute video call from the comfort of your own home. Santa will listen to your kids’ wish lists and send a personalized message to your family. Enjoy a movie from the comfort of your own boat at Miami Whitewater Forest! Adventure, comedy or suspense? Whatever your favorite movie genre, there is something for everyone at this event. Tonight’s film is the musical, “Hairspray.” Concessions will be available for purchase each evening. Burgers & Brews

Burgers & Brews is back! Join us at Lake Isabella for fun, food, and festivities. Stay later to enjoy our overnight weekend with night fishing. Menu includes burgers, hot dogs, metts, pasta salad, potato salad, and cold drinks. Vegan options are available. Attendance is free. Fishing is 15/adults, $10/seniors, $5/kids 12 & under. National Night Out

Meet the Great Parks Rangers, along with other local law enforcement agencies and first responders at National Night Out! Bring the whole family for an evening in the park where you’ll play games, dine on free food and ice cream, get up close with emergency vehicles, see animal ambassadors, and most importantly, enjoy community camaraderie. Motor Vehicle Permits are not required for this event. Enjoy a selection of Vinoklet wines perfectly paired with delicious cakes from Cakes by George while you learn how to create an everlasting wood floral arrangement. Each ticket includes three sample-sized pairings of wine and cake and a full-size glass of wine to enjoy while you create your beautiful wood-flower centerpiece. Nationally recognized mixologist and Cincinnati local Molly Wellmann will be showing guests the proper way to taste and appreciate four bourbons from the tri-state! Enjoy a variety of light bites while Molly speaks about the history behind each bourbon and their local connections. A Great Parks Interpreter will also be demonstrating how to use common garden herbs to enhance your at-home bourbon cocktails. This is sure to be an unforgettable evening, so grab your tickets before they’re gone!
