Volunteer Events

Volunteering for Great Parks of Hamilton County will lead you to fun, rewarding and unforgettable experiences! Help with invasive plant removal, patrol one of our more than 70 miles of trails, volunteer at our Shaker Trace Nursery or interact directly with park guests at one of our gift shops, visitor centers or nature programs. Join our outstanding team of volunteers and staff members and learn new skills, meet people with similar interests, all while making a difference in your community. Whether you have time to volunteer long-term, a few weeks or only once or twice a year, Great Parks of Hamilton County has a place for you! It's fun, rewarding and easy to get involved. Tree Planting with CORA at Mitchell Memorial Forest

Team up with CORA, the Cincinnati Off-Road Alliance, to improve the Mountain Bike Trail. Volunteers from Great Parks and CORA will plant trees along the trail to fill in gaps in the canopy. After the event, CORA is providing food to celebrate a job well done.

Disc Golf Course Maintenance at Miami Whitewater Forest

Assist with the finishing touches to prepare for the fall opening of the newly designed 18-hole course. Cut or remove stumps that are deemed trip hazards, remove identification flagging, and remove remaining brush from walking paths.
