Learn the basics of starting a mixed vegetable garden. From soil to seeds and everything in between join us to explore the hows, whys, and benefits of starting your own backyard garden. Participants will receive a selection of plant starts to begin their gardening journey.

Have you ever wondered about compost but haven’t been sure where to begin? Join us to dig into the science behind it, the benefits of doing it, and how to! Head home with a container of organic compost.

Learn about how to use gardening and the outdoors as a teaching tool in your classroom! This will include indoor and outdoor activities for Pre-K, elementary and middle school levels. Teachers will receive materials to start a classroom garden of their own.

Join us for cozy fireside cooking, where culinary traditions meet the great outdoors! Gather around the crackling fire as you learn to prepare delicious farm-fresh meals using seasonal ingredients. Savor the warmth of the fire, the joy of cooking together, and the taste of your creations. Be sure to dress for the weather as we will be outside for the duration of the program.

The farm animals invite you to celebrate Valentine's Day with them! Meet some animals up close, learn what foods they love, and make a craft to take home.

A mischievous leprechaun is up to some silly shenanigans at the farm! Join us for a St. Patrick's Day adventure as we ask the animals for hints and follow them to find out what's hiding at the end of the rainbow. Children must be accompanied by an adult caregiver.

Hop on down the bunny trail with us as we explore The Tale of Peter Rabbit. We'll read a story about a hungry rabbit, harvest and taste "rabbit food" from the garden, plant seeds, and meet a rabbit.

In honor of Black History Month, learn about the history of Black farming in America. Discussions will cover notable agriculturalists, as well as the racism and discrimination Black farmers faced throughout history, contributing to both their decline and resilience.
