Fishing Tournaments

All tournaments are 2 person team events, and individuals are permitted to fish alone.  A maximum of 2 rods are permitted per angler in all events except the Bass tournaments where only 1 rod may be used.  Only artificial lures are permitted in the Bass tournaments, live bait is permitted at all other events.  Stringers are prohibited in all tournaments.  Teams must have their team ID bobber on the tournament board before the end of the event in order to weigh their fish.  The Kid’s Derby and Mystery Fish Challenge are not tournaments and prizes will be awarded to every kid who fishes.  Fishermen can enter tournaments onsite the day of the event, or in advance at greatparks.org.
